A Celebrating 250 Event
Come meet the Baker Company, 1st Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, a WWII reenacting group that portrays the life of U.S. Marines serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Camp setup, live demonstrations, Victory Garden, music in the parlor, bread pudding in the kitchen, house tours, and more.

A DAY FULL OF EVENTS:
- World War 2 Camp: Come meet the Baker Company, 1 st Battalion, 21 st Marine Regiment. A World War 2 reenacting group that portrays the life of US Marines serving in the Pacific Theater. There will be a camp setup and live demonstrations!
- Sharon Yates, Artist and Author: Renown Maine artist known for her paintings of cows, as well as the author of books on animals, will be doing a demo of her painting as well as signing her books.
- World War II and Watches: Battle Time! The American watch and clock industry gears up for war! Display and demos!
- Historic Jones Homestead (1770 – present): House tours of the historic Jones house with music in the parlor and parlor games of the period!
- Women On the Home Front: Sample bread pudding with maple syrup in our 1940’s kitchen. See ration coupon booklets, rationed foods, and learn how women and children stepped up while the men were away!
- Activities: Victory Garden, Tractor Rides, Animal Encounters and More!

This program is part of the New Hampshire Farm Museum’s 250th Celebration Series, paying tribute to our founding fathers and mothers as part of America’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
