Harvest Time on the Farm

Come celebrate the fall harvest. Leaf peepers welcomed!
We’ll be offering tractor rides around the farm with beautiful views of Teneriffe Mountain. Feed our sheep and cows from our hay bales. We invite you to stop by the open fire where for mulled cider, roasted popcorn, and apple crisp.

Harvest Day Activities:
- Try your hand at candlemaking.
- Adults can try their hand at the two-man saw.
- Kids of all ages can decorate a Halloween cookie in the 1940s kitchen.
- Children can join our storyteller in the ell and listen to Johnny Appleseed.
- Participate in our skillet toss contest!
- Children’s games: sack races, three-legged race, and egg in a spoon relay.
- We will also have facepainting!
- Free pumpkins to children twelve and under (limited to the first twenty children).
- Tour the historic Jones farmhouse dating back to the 1700s where five generations of the same family once lived.
- Come explore the Barn and see if you can find the tools listed on the Scavenger Hunt.
- Luncheon items available for purchase for your fall time picnic!
- Featured musicians: String Equinox.
- Purchase homemade jams and jellies, or a souvenir, in our Country Store!
